El Capitan leads as exascale systems dominate latest TOP500 rankings

The newly released 65th edition of the TOP500 list has confirmed El Capitan as the world’s most powerful supercomputer, maintaining its lead in global high-performance computing rankings. The system, housed at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in California, achieved a remarkable 1.742 exaflops per second on the HPL benchmark, cementing its status at the top of the list.
