EIZO releases new ColorEdge CG2400SV 24.1-inch color management monitor

EIZO has introduced the ColorEdge CG2400SV, a 24.1-inch WUXGA color management monitor designed for broadcast and video production with SDI input and output connectivity.

EIZO Corporation has introduced the ColorEdge CG2400SV, a 24.1-inch color management monitor with WUXGA (1920 x 1200) resolution. The CG2400SV is built on the same technical foundation as the ColorEdge CG2400S that was announced in February 2025 for photography, design, and other creative fields. This new model adapts that foundation to the needs of broadcast and video production workflows by adding video-focused connectivity and monitoring features.

To meet professional broadcast and video production requirements, the CG2400SV is EIZO´s second monitor after the 30.5-inch ColorEdge PROMINENCE CG1 to include SDI input and output terminals. It supports 3G-SDI Level A and HD-SDI signals, enabling the transmission of uncompressed video signals to preserve the full fidelity of high dynamic range content without introducing visual artifacts. That SDI capability is positioned to ensure seamless integration with professional camera systems and live video feeds, making the monitor suitable for accurate monitoring both on-site and in-studio.

In addition to SDI, the CG2400SV also offers DisplayPort and HDMI terminals to support a range of workflows and system configurations. EIZO markets the monitor as a color management tool tailored to broadcast and video production, extending the company’s ColorEdge line beyond still photography and design applications. The combination of WUXGA resolution, SDI support, and multiple input options aims to provide professionals with a reliable solution for precise video monitoring and quality control in production environments.
