Xsight Labs Unveils Arm-Based E1-SoC for Cloud and Edge Artificial Intelligence Data Centers

Xsight Labs announces its new Arm-based E1-SoC, the industry´s highest performance software-defined DPU, targeting cloud and edge Artificial Intelligence data centers.

Xsight Labs, a prominent fabless semiconductor company specializing in next-generation data center networks, has officially launched the E1-SoC, a new Arm-based System on Chip designed for cloud and edge Artificial Intelligence data centers. The E1-SoC is part of Xsight Labs´ E-Series infrastructure, introducing a fully programmable solution that distinguishes itself by offering complete control plane and data path programmability. This makes the E1-SoC the highest performing software-defined Data Processing Unit (DPU) currently available for hyperscale, edge, and Artificial Intelligence workloads.

The E1 is the first product in Xsight Labs’ E-Series of Software Defined Network (SDN) Infrastructure Processors. These programmable network accelerators are engineered to support the rapid evolution of both data center and edge computing requirements, enabling robust and flexible infrastructures. The new SoC is manufactured using TSMC’s advanced 5 nanometer process, underscoring the product’s state-of-the-art performance and power efficiency for demanding networking and Artificial Intelligence applications.

In addition to the standalone E1-SoC, Xsight Labs is introducing the E1-Server, which is marketed as the first 800G DPU available on the market. The company has begun accepting orders for both the E1-SoC and the E1-Server, with shipments to customers and ecosystem partners set to commence soon. These launches position Xsight Labs at the forefront of providing scalable, high-bandwidth solutions for data center modernization, as the industry increasingly demands programmable, high-throughput network processing for Artificial Intelligence workloads in both core and edge environments.
