NVIDIA Launches Accelerated Quantum Research Center

NVIDIA opens a new research center to advance quantum computing integration with Artificial Intelligence supercomputers.

NVIDIA has announced the establishment of the NVIDIA Accelerated Quantum Research Center (NVAQC) at its global AI conference, GTC. The new facility will drive advancements in integrating quantum processing units (QPUs) into Artificial Intelligence supercomputer architectures.

The NVAQC is set to house an NVIDIA GB200 NVL72 supercomputer with 576 NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs, focusing on quantum computing research. This center will facilitate the development of low-latency, AI-driven decoders critical for quantum error correction, a significant challenge in the field. With involvement from pioneers such as Quantinuum, QuEra, and Quantum Machines, the center aims to explore how enhanced AI supercomputing can aid quantum advancements, enabling next-generation device control and noise management.

The collaboration with esteemed academic institutions like Harvard and MIT highlights the ambition to unify classical and quantum computing resources. The center will also explore AI-based compilation techniques to accelerate quantum algorithm runtimes. NVIDIA’s continued efforts in this domain could significantly shape the future landscape of quantum computing by overcoming existing hardware integration challenges and advancing the practical utility of quantum technologies. Ultimately, these initiatives are expected to push the boundaries of quantum-classical computing and unlock new possibilities within the realm.

Industry 5.0 shifts focus to human centric value and sustainability

Industry 5.0 reframes industrial transformation around collaboration between humans and machines, emphasizing growth, resilience, and sustainability over narrow efficiency gains. Many organizations still underinvest in human centric and sustainable use cases despite evidence that they create higher value.

Best artificial intelligence video generators for every creator

Leading artificial intelligence video tools like Sora, Veo 3, Adobe Firefly, Runway and Midjourney target different needs, from free social clips to commercially safe productions, but all come with legal and ethical tradeoffs. Choosing the right platform means balancing price, creative control, output quality and how each service handles your data and copyrights.
