Infor expands Amazon Web Services partnership to boost generative artificial intelligence adoption

Infor and Amazon Web Services are joining forces to accelerate industry-specific generative artificial intelligence solutions, expanding Infor´s reach via the AWS Marketplace.

Infor has significantly broadened its Strategic Collaboration Agreement with Amazon Web Services, aiming to fast-track generative artificial intelligence adoption among their shared global customer base. With over ten years as an AWS Partner Network member, Infor plans to deepen integration with cloud-native and emerging artificial intelligence services such as Amazon Bedrock, ensuring that its tailored industry cloud solutions remain at the forefront of innovation. The enhanced collaboration seeks to extend accessibility for Infor´s offerings through AWS Marketplace, enabling more organisations worldwide to leverage specialised cloud ERP and artificial intelligence-powered products.

The partnership combines Infor´s strong domain knowledge in sectors like healthcare, manufacturing, and food and beverage with AWS´s advanced artificial intelligence and cloud infrastructure. This fusion supports highly specific, micro-vertical industry solutions by accelerating co-innovation and focused co-selling strategies. According to Infor, embracing generative artificial intelligence will help customers address pressing operational challenges, streamline processes, and heighten user experiences. The deployment of generative artificial intelligence is not generic; Infor’s intent is to understand and address the nuanced requirements of thousands of industry micro-verticals, thus maximising operational gains and competitive differentiation.

Concrete results from the collaboration underscore its momentum. Infor has reported a ninefold jump in AWS Marketplace revenue between 2023 and 2024 and a quadrupling of joint co-sell launched deals year over year. The firm has also attained six AWS Competencies, highlighting its technical expertise and ability to consistently deliver measurable business outcomes on AWS. Leaders from both companies, including Jeanne Newberry, Infor’s senior vice president of ecosystems and business development, and Chris Grusz, managing director of technology partnerships at AWS, emphasised how the agreement intensifies their shared goal to support rapid, secure, and scalable digital transformation. Ultimately, customers gain streamlined deployment, improved decision-making, and enhanced data quality—positioning their operations for both present performance and future growth.
