Google Veo 3 to launch in India soon

Google is bringing its advanced Veo 3 artificial intelligence video tool to India, offering creators new capabilities and robust watermarking for transparency.

Google is poised to introduce its latest artificial intelligence video generation platform, Veo 3, to India in the near future as part of a broader international expansion. After launching across 72 countries, Veo 3 is expected to stimulate significant interest from digital creators, marketers, and content professionals within India´s vibrant digital landscape. The platform empowers users with sophisticated video rendering capabilities, accommodating a variety of creative and artistic styles, and integrates tightly with Google’s ecosystem of products and services.

In a move to bolster transparency and combat the growing concern of deepfakes and video-based misinformation, Google has integrated a dedicated watermark into most Veo 3-generated videos. This subtle mark, placed in the lower right corner, ensures content integrity by allowing viewers to recognize artificial intelligence-generated material. Notably, there is an exception: videos produced using the Flow tool under the premium Gemini AI Ultra subscription plan do not display this watermark, reflecting a tiered approach to creator control and transparency.

The announcement, delivered by Josh Woodward, vice president of Google Labs and Google Gemini, highlights Veo 3’s potential to redefine digital storytelling while upholding responsible artificial intelligence practices. Google positions Veo 3 as a tool tailored for the needs of independent creators, influencers, and businesses aiming to automate and scale video content production. As artificial intelligence-powered content creation moves further into mainstream use, the India launch of Veo 3 is expected to enhance creative workflows and reinforce ethical practices in the country’s digital sector. Google’s focus on embedding safeguards like watermarking underscores its commitment to balancing innovation with accountability as artificial intelligence adoption accelerates.

Executives see limited Artificial Intelligence productivity gains so far

Corporate enthusiasm around Artificial Intelligence has yet to translate into broad gains in employment or productivity, reviving comparisons to the long lag between early computing breakthroughs and measurable economic impact. Recent surveys and studies show mixed results, with strong expectations for future benefits but little consensus on present gains.

Nvidia skips a new GeForce generation as Artificial Intelligence chips dominate

Nvidia is set to go a year without a new GeForce GPU generation for the first time since the 1990s as memory shortages and higher margins in Artificial Intelligence hardware reshape the market. AMD and Intel are also struggling to capitalize because the same supply constraints are hitting gaming products across the industry.

Where gpu debt starts to break

Stress in gpu-backed infrastructure financing is emerging around deals that lack the structural protections seen in the strongest transactions. Oracle, the Abilene Stargate project, and older CoreWeave debt illustrate different ways residual risk can surface when contracts, collateral, and counterparties fall short.

SK hynix starts mass production of 192 GB SOCAMM2

SK hynix has begun mass production of the 192 GB SOCAMM2, a next-generation memory module standard built on 1cnm LPDDR5X low-power DRAM. The module is positioned as a primary memory solution for next-generation Artificial Intelligence servers.

AMD taps GlobalFoundries for co-packaged optics in Instinct MI500

AMD is preparing a renewed manufacturing link with GlobalFoundries to bring co-packaged optics to its Instinct MI500 Artificial Intelligence accelerators. The move is aimed at improving bandwidth and power efficiency in data center systems by moving beyond copper-based interconnects.
