Unveiled with bold claims, Musk asserts that Grok-3 is currently ´the smartest artificial intelligence on earth´, a statement underpinned by notable advances in computational power and benchmark performance. Developed with ten times the computing resources of its predecessor, Grok-2, the new model´s training was powered by a custom Memphis data center housing 200,000 GPUs.
Grok-3 introduces a range of advanced capabilities, including multimodal reasoning, chain-of-thought logic, and voice-based interaction. It boasts robust performance on academic benchmarks such as the American Invitational Mathematics Examination (AIME) and the Graduate Physics Question Answering (GPQA) test, surpassing major competitors in mathematics, science, and coding assessments.
