PinPoint Data Science CEO wins dual honours at Digital Leaders Artificial Intelligence 100 UK awards 2025

Giles Tully, CEO of PinPoint Data Science, took first place in the private sector and was named overall winner of the Digital Leaders Artificial Intelligence 100 UK List 2025. His company’s UKCA-marked Artificial Intelligence enabled PinPoint Test analyses 31 blood biomarkers and patient demographics to help clinicians triage cancer risk.

Giles Tully, chief executive of Nexus-based PinPoint Data Science, has been recognised with two top prizes at the Digital Leaders Artificial Intelligence 100 UK Awards 2025. Tully won first place in the private sector category and was named the overall winner of the Artificial Intelligence 100 UK List, an annual programme designed to celebrate leadership in responsible and life-changing applications of Artificial Intelligence across the country.

PinPoint Data Science applies advanced machine learning to cancer diagnostics. The company’s flagship product, the PinPoint Test, is a UKCA-marked, Artificial Intelligence enabled blood test that integrates with existing healthcare systems. By analysing 31 blood biomarkers alongside patient demographics, the test produces a single, clear indicator of cancer risk intended to help clinicians rapidly triage patients and prioritise those who need urgent care. The article describes the test as an intelligent upgrade to traditional pathology, surfacing complex blood patterns beyond current manual methods.

The algorithm that underpins the PinPoint Test has been developed under regulatory oversight and is refined through evidence-based updates drawn from growing real-world data, the article says, with an emphasis on accuracy and accountability. The Digital Leaders Artificial Intelligence 100 awards drew a shortlist from more than 400 nominees and highlights 100 individuals and organisations delivering ethical, impactful, and innovative Artificial Intelligence. Tully’s selection is presented as a marker of PinPoint’s national significance in making cancer diagnostics faster and more accessible.

Tully said he was honoured to win and hopes the list will raise the profile of work being done in the UK. Since joining PinPoint in 2017, he has helped scale a small group of scientists into an internationally recognised health-tech company that has secured NHS sponsorship, attracted strategic investment, and demonstrated how Artificial Intelligence can deliver tangible improvements for patients, clinicians, and healthcare systems.
