Anthropic unveils Claude for financial services with verified data integrations

Anthropic launches an industry-tailored generative Artificial Intelligence platform for financial giants, delivering research, modeling, and compliance tools—complete with audit trails and deep integrations.

Anthropic has launched Claude for Financial Services, a generative artificial intelligence solution aimed at analysts, portfolio managers, and underwriters in large financial institutions. Available exclusively via enterprise plans, the platform is powered by Anthropic´s Claude 4 model and integrates with leading data and content providers such as Snowflake, Morningstar, S&P Global, Box, and FactSet. This integration equips users with access to internal and external verified data in a single dashboard, helping to minimize errors and verify outputs.

This marks Anthropic’s first industry-specific platform, designed specifically for high-trust sectors where data accuracy and compliance are non-negotiable. With expanded context windows and increased document analysis limits, Claude for Financial Services facilitates in-depth due diligence and large-scale modeling. It supports complex analyses, including Monte Carlo simulations and risk assessments, and offers specialized features through Claude Code, which enables users to run and debug custom scripts for advanced modeling. The service also comes with six weeks of hands-on training and support from consulting partners like Deloitte and KPMG, guiding clients through integration and deployment.

To address the persistent issue of hallucinations in artificial intelligence, the platform connects directly to original data sources and embeds an audit trail for every report or model generated. Users can validate information instantaneously, reducing risk while simultaneously keeping productivity high. While Jonathan “JP” Pelosi, Anthropic’s head of FSI, notes that hallucinations are not entirely eliminated, the solution is engineered to express uncertainty and cite sources transparently, instilling confidence for enterprise users. Major institutions such as Bridgewater and the Norwegian sovereign wealth fund are already leveraging the tool. The product is currently available on AWS Marketplace and will soon launch on Google Cloud Marketplace, reinforcing Anthropic’s commitment to data integrity and trust in artificial intelligence for finance.
