The manual names AVX512_BMM, AVX512_FP16, AVX_NE_CONVERT, AVX_IFMA and AVX_VNNI_INT8 among other additions. Notably, the inclusion of AVX512_FP16 means 16-bit AVX-512 calculations are now documented for consumer-oriented desktop CPUs, which allows developers to accelerate applications and data paths that rely on AVX-512 capabilities.

Public compiler work has already tracked the hardware enablement. A series of GNU compiler patches add support for AVX512_BMM, AVX_NE_CONVERT, AVX_IFMA, AVX_VNNI_INT8 and AVX512_FP16 to GCC, confirming that open-source toolchains are being prepared to emit and optimize for the new instructions.
