Dentons Launches Proprietary DAISY Artificial Intelligence Tool Across Europe

Dentons has unveiled DAISY, an internally developed Artificial Intelligence platform that delivers secure generative capabilities to staff across Europe and Central Asia.

Dentons, the global law firm, has announced the launch of DAISY, a proprietary Artificial Intelligence tool developed in-house to serve its personnel throughout Europe and Central Asia. The debut version of DAISY includes a secure chat interface designed for generative tasks such as document summarization and drafting, along with a translation function and access to internal policy documents. The platform aims to maximize productivity for both legal and business services professionals at Dentons while reinforcing the firm’s reputation as an innovator in the legal sector, according to Wendela Raas, Chief Executive Officer of Dentons Europe.

DAISY was built by Dentons’ Europe Innovation and Intelligence team in partnership with the firm´s Technology division, prioritizing scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness. The modular, model-agnostic architecture enables the integration of the best large language models for specific use cases, connecting both in-house and third-party tools to ensure a flexible, consistent user experience. The system is structured for rapid adaptation, meaning Dentons can quickly add features such as web research, company profiling, news monitoring, opportunity intelligence, rapid prototyping, and custom retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) applications over the coming months.

The platform represents a central component of Dentons’ broader Artificial Intelligence strategy in Europe. In addition to DAISY, Dentons has recently contributed expertise to the training of Noxtua, a sovereign European legal Artificial Intelligence, and participated in JuriAIring, a non-profit initiative benchmarking legal Artificial Intelligence solutions. These projects reinforce Dentons´ commitment to leading-edge technology, innovation, and the responsible development of legal Artificial Intelligence that meets the unique requirements of the European legal landscape.
