Renovaro Taps Nebul for High-Performance AI Cloud in Early Disease Detection

Renovaro will use Nebul´s Artificial Intelligence cloud infrastructure to accelerate development of sensitive disease detection tests.

AI-driven medical company Renovaro has partnered with Nebul, leveraging the European cloud provider´s high-performance computing (HPC) infrastructure to power its advanced deep learning and machine learning research. The collaboration is focused on improving early detection for cancer and other critical diseases, with a particular emphasis on developing a highly sensitive diagnostic test for lung cancer that can identify minimal residual disease (MRD).

According to Renovaro CEO David Weinstein, Nebul´s data centers will play a crucial role in accelerating the program aimed at creating an urgently needed improved test for early lung cancer detection. Weinstein highlighted the necessity for deep learning models to have access to secure, scalable, and high-performance infrastructure—capabilities that Nebul provides through its purpose-built data centers. He noted that Nebul´s full-stack private Artificial Intelligence support, hands-on expert assistance, and privacy-focused approach make it particularly suitable for the clinical and regulated environment in which Renovaro operates.

Nebul, headquartered in Leiden, South Holland, is a private Artificial Intelligence cloud company founded in 2022. The company provides access to Nvidia´s technology platforms, including DGX, HGX, OVX, and RTX systems that utilize advanced GPUs such as the B200, H200, H100, L40s, and L4. In June 2024, Nebul secured €20 million in funding to expand its operations. While detailed information about Nebul´s data center network remains limited, the company states that its facilities are powered by efficient green energy and are strategically distributed across Europe.
