NVIDIA Unveils GeForce RTX 5060 Series, Debuts with RTX 5060 Ti

NVIDIA pushes the boundaries of gaming hardware, launching the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti with advanced features like Neural Rendering and DLSS 4 Multi Frame Generation.

NVIDIA has officially launched the GeForce RTX 5060 series, marking a significant step forward in the company´s graphics hardware offerings. The announcement covers three new models: the GeForce RTX 5060, the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 8 GB, and the RTX 5060 Ti 16 GB. The two Ti variants—the 8 GB and 16 GB models—will be available starting April 16, with media reviews set to be published on the same day. The standard RTX 5060 is slated for release in May, completing the latest generational lineup.

The RTX 5060 Ti introduces NVIDIA´s state-of-the-art 5 nm ´GB206´ silicon and fully utilizes its capabilities. This new GPU boasts an architecture with 36 streaming multiprocessors distributed across three graphics processing clusters. It delivers a robust specification list, offering 4,608 CUDA cores, 144 Tensor cores dedicated to advanced acceleration tasks such as deep learning and neural processing, 36 RT cores for next-generation ray tracing, 144 texture mapping units, and 48 render output units. The graphics card is equipped with either 8 GB or 16 GB of GDDR7 memory operating on a 128-bit interface, clocked at a remarkable 28 Gbps, delivering a total memory bandwidth of 448 GB/s—a 55% performance improvement over its predecessor, the RTX 4060 Ti.

Targeted primarily at gamers who demand top-tier 1080p performance with ray tracing enabled, the RTX 5060 Ti is also expected to perform admirably at 1440p with high settings. Exclusive features debuting with the RTX 50-series include Neural Rendering and DLSS 4 Multi Frame Generation, positioning these GPUs at the cutting edge of gaming innovation. While NVIDIA has not disclosed official pricing for the RTX 5060 Ti models, the company acknowledges that volatile trade environments and market speculation could influence availability and final cost. Nonetheless, the launch underscores NVIDIA´s commitment to advancing both hardware and software capabilities for gaming enthusiasts.
