TCL showcases SQD-Mini LED displays and Artificial Intelligence smart living lineup at CES 2026

TCL used its largest-ever CES presence to debut SQD-Mini LED display technology, new Artificial Intelligence enhanced glasses and robots, and sustainable materials under its TCLGreen and TCLArt initiatives. The company also highlighted its growing global footprint and recent market share gains in Mini LED televisions.

TCL used CES 2026 in Las Vegas to unveil a broad slate of technologies spanning next generation displays, Artificial Intelligence driven devices, and sustainable materials, framed as part of its largest exhibition at the show to date. The company positioned the lineup as evidence of its strategy to innovate at scale, with a focus on disruptive display breakthroughs, human centric Artificial Intelligence integration, and environmentally conscious material design. The booth was organized around new television hardware, immersive augmented reality wearables, home robotics, and a showcase of its TCLGreen and TCLArt brand platforms.

At the center of the display portfolio is TCL’s proprietary SQD-Mini LED technology, presented as a major upgrade to traditional Mini LED. The system transforms standard backlight zones into Precise Dimming Series so that each zone can perform with the efficacy of multiple zones, providing finer light control. The flagship TCL X11L series debuts this platform and combines Super Mini LED Backlight, Super QLED, and Super Panel. TCL states that the X11L features up to 20,736 precise dimming zones and a peak brightness of HDR 10,000 nits, capable of 100% restoration of HDR content. The company says the set achieves up to 100% BT. 2020 All Scenes Wide Color Gamut through Super Quantum Dot and a WHVA 2.0 Ultra Panel, while an ultra slim, borderless industrial design is paired with Audio by Bang & Olufsen to align sound performance with the display.

TCL is also using Artificial Intelligence as the organizing principle for a suite of smart living products that blur television, wearables, and home appliances. The RayNeo Air 4 Pro, described as a new species of head mounted TV, is billed as the world’s first HDR10 enabled glasses and uses the customized Vision 4000 chip with Artificial Intelligence to convert SDR video to HDR and transform 2D into 3D on a claimed 201-inch virtual display with a 200,000:1 contrast ratio. TCL AiMe, called the world’s first modular Artificial Intelligence companion robot, is designed to recognize emotions, manage internet of things devices, and document daily life. The TCL FreshIN 3.0 Next-Gen Artificial Intelligence Healthy Air Conditioner features 16dB Quiet Fresh Air and QuadruPuri filters that remove up to 97.66% of PM2.5, and T-AI Energy Saving is said to deliver over 37% AI-optimised energy savings while Artificial Intelligence voice control enables hands free use.

Sustainability and design are grouped under the TCLGreen and TCLArt initiatives, which the company describes as core to its brand philosophy. TCLGreen is presented as a long term environmental commitment, highlighted by TCL ECORA™, a composite material made from recycled porcelain and developed with CMF specialist Chris Lefteri to create premium, durable finishes for home appliances. Visitors to the CES booth can assemble accessories such as phone straps, bracelets, and bag charms using 3D printed TCL ECORA™ letters to make the material tangible. TCLArt is framed as a global effort to make art more accessible through display technology, working with partners to support contemporary artists and use screens as a creative bridge. Both initiatives are brought together in the TCL NXTHOME™ exhibition space, which stages smart technology within an aesthetic, home like environment so that devices recede visually while life and art remain the focus.

TCL tied these product announcements to its wider global footprint and recent performance. The company notes that its infrastructure has developed over 27 years into a network of 47 R&D centers and 39 manufacturing bases serving over 1.3 billion users, with North American operations anchored by a Silicon Valley R&D center and manufacturing in Mexico to support localized products. TCL reported robust performance data for the first three quarters of 2025 and says it ranks as the Global Top 2 TV brand and the Global No. 1 brand for Mini LED TV shipments, with a 29.4% market share in the category. At CES 2026, the Global Top Brands Selection listed TCL second among Global TV Brands and 14th on the Global Top 50 CE Brands list for 2025-2026, reinforcing the company’s bid to be seen as a leading global smart technology brand as it expands into Artificial Intelligence enhanced living spaces.
