Mailchimp launches new artificial intelligence marketing suite for small businesses

Mailchimp unveils a powerful suite of artificial intelligence-driven marketing tools, targeting small and mid-sized businesses with advanced integrations and analytics.

Mailchimp, owned by Intuit, has introduced a comprehensive suite of artificial intelligence-powered marketing tools and integrations at its FWD: London event. The rollout specifically targets small and mid-sized businesses, aiming to streamline customer acquisition and retention as these firms face mounting pressure in a challenging economic climate. Citing internal research indicating that 71% of small businesses are concerned about attracting new customers, Mailchimp positions these upgrades as a direct response to evolving business needs.

The new suite includes expanded lead generation integrations with major advertising platforms such as Meta, TikTok, Google, Snapchat, and LinkedIn. This innovation allows businesses to feed real-time ad campaign data directly into Mailchimp, facilitating immediate automated follow-up with new prospects. Alongside these integrations, the platform now offers over 100 industry-tailored, customizable pop-up templates for lead capture, spanning sectors like health, education, and the arts. To bolster campaign effectiveness, a new Metrics Visualizer enables firms to analyze 40-plus reporting metrics across email and SMS channels—helping them make faster, data-driven marketing decisions.

These enhancements are part of an ambitious plan to integrate Mailchimp more closely with QuickBooks, Intuit´s flagship business management software. This deeper connectivity seeks to unify marketing and financial operations for users, reducing complexity and manual data management. According to Freya Doggett of Serpentine Galleries in London, the unified offerings ´really simplify things that are complicated by nature.´ Looking ahead, Mailchimp announced upcoming features for late 2025, such as custom audience export to major advertising platforms and APIs for streamlined SMS campaign management. Intuit is also expanding its ecosystem of artificial intelligence agents within QuickBooks, supporting functions in customer service, payments, and project management—a move that already helps 56% of users make more informed, timely decisions.
