Biostar and MemryX showcase edge artificial intelligence systems at Automation Taipei 2025

Biostar and MemryX will present EdgeComp industrial systems with MemryX artificial intelligence acceleration at Automation Taipei 2025, August 20-23. Visitors can see live demos of MX3-powered modules and an AMD Ryzen 7 powered EdgeComp system at booth L2021.

Biostar, a manufacturer of edge computing solutions, industrial motherboards, graphics cards, and storage devices, is partnering with MemryX to present advanced industrial edge systems at Automation Taipei 2025. The joint showcase runs August 20 to 23 at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, hall 1, 4F, with live demonstrations at booth L2021. The companies position the exhibit around low-power, real-time processing for modern industrial and automation use cases.

On display will be Biostar´s EdgeComp industrial lineup, including the MS-N97, X7433RE, MS-J6412, and X6413E, each built for embedded and automation applications. The collaboration highlights two live demo systems. The EdgeComp MT-N97-MX3 integrates MemryX´s MX3 artificial intelligence accelerator and is designed to handle up to 36 channels per module while maintaining low power consumption and real-time inference. The EdgeComp B850-MX3 pairs an AMD Ryzen 7 processor with Biostar´s B850MT-E PRO motherboard to demonstrate a higher-performance configuration also featuring the MX3 accelerator.

The showcase emphasizes practical deployments for industrial automation, allowing attendees to evaluate performance, power characteristics, and integration of MemryX acceleration in Biostar systems. The demos aim to illustrate how edge artificial intelligence can be applied across multi-channel sensing and embedded control tasks. Visitors interested in industrial edge hardware, embedded artificial intelligence acceleration, or system integration for automation are encouraged to visit booth L2021 for hands-on demonstrations and technical information.

How Intel became central to America’s Artificial Intelligence strategy

The Trump administration took a 10 percent stake in Intel in exchange for early CHIPS Act funding, positioning the struggling chipmaker at the core of U.S. Artificial Intelligence ambitions. The high-stakes bet could reshape domestic manufacturing while raising questions about government overreach.

NextSilicon unveils processor chip to challenge Intel and AMD

Israeli startup NextSilicon is developing a RISC-V central processor to complement its Maverick-2 chip for precision scientific computing, positioning it against Intel and AMD and in competition with Nvidia’s systems. Sandia National Laboratories has been evaluating the technology as the company claims faster, lower power performance without code changes on some workloads.
