The project, which will roll out in phases, represents a multi-billion dollar investment expected to generate thousands of construction jobs, hundreds of permanent roles, and robust tax contributions to support local infrastructure and services. The initial facility has already secured a foundational customer, with capacity set to become available in mid-2026. This campus is Aligned’s third in Ohio, signaling the state’s primacy for hyperscale artificial intelligence and digital infrastructure, thanks to robust power access, high-capacity fiber routes, and favorable regulatory conditions.
Beyond expansion, Aligned is sharpening its sustainability profile. Its recently completed PHX-06 data center in Phoenix stands out, having achieved the coveted Three Green Globes® rating from the Green Building Initiative, which recognizes leading performance in resource efficiency, environmental protection, and occupant health. The Phoenix campus showcases minimized water usage, highly efficient energy systems, sourcing of 100% renewable power, and adoption of its Adaptive Modular Infrastructure (AMI), based on standardized prefabrication. This approach greatly reduces waste, streamlines deployments, and lowers Scope 3 emissions, positioning Aligned at the forefront of responsible digital infrastructure delivery. As the highest-certifying developer in the GBI program, the firm is becoming synonymous not only with speed but with sustainability leadership.
Aligned is also pushing the envelope in cooling innovation, a necessity as artificial intelligence workloads escalate power density requirements. Its new Advanced Cooling Lab in Phoenix serves as a testbed for air, liquid, and hybrid cooling regimes, leveraging patented Delta Cube and DeltaFlow~ technologies.
