NVIDIA discrete GPU market share expands to 94% in Q2 2025

Analyst firm Jon Peddie Research reports that NVIDIA accounted for 94% of discrete AIB shipments in Q2 2025, a 2.1% increase quarter over quarter as AMD ceded share. The report ties the gain to NVIDIA´s mid-range Blackwell rollout and notes a broader rebound in AIB shipments to 11.6 million units.

Acer unveils Veriton GN100 Artificial Intelligence mini workstation

Acer introduced the Veriton GN100 Artificial Intelligence mini workstation, a compact system designed to run large models locally and reduce reliance on cloud services. The system is built on the NVIDIA GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip and targets server-grade performance in a mini-PC form factor.

AMD Zen 6 to use TSMC 2 nm for CCDs and 3 nm for IOD

AMD will adopt a split-node design for Zen 6, placing compute chiplets on TSMC N2P 2 nm and I/O dies on N3P 3 nm with volume ramping in late 2026. The approach targets higher performance and efficiency while containing costs for non-core logic.
