Intel Unveils Arc Pro GPUs and Gaudi 3 Accelerators for Professional Artificial Intelligence Workloads

Intel launches new Arc Pro GPUs and Gaudi 3 accelerators at Computex, targeting creators and enterprises with specialized Artificial Intelligence hardware.

Intel has announced its latest push into the professional Artificial Intelligence and workstation market with the introduction of the Arc Pro GPU lineup and next-generation Gaudi 3 accelerator chips at Computex in Taiwan. The Arc Pro B60 and B50 GPUs, leveraging Intel´s updated Xe2 architecture, are designed to power both Artificial Intelligence-driven PCs and advanced content creation workstations. These models offer 24 GB and 16 GB of memory respectively, and integrate Intel Xe Matric Extensions AI cores along with advanced ray tracing capabilities for enhanced visuals and computational performance.

The new hardware is aimed at professionals seeking scalable, multi-GPU setups, with Project Battlematrix—Intel´s new high-end workstation platform—supporting up to eight Arc Pro B60 GPUs for running medium-sized Artificial Intelligence models locally. Both consumer and professional Windows drivers are supported, as well as streamlined deployment on Linux through a containerized software stack, making these solutions accessible for small and medium-sized businesses requiring targeted Artificial Intelligence and graphics processing capabilities.

On the enterprise side, Intel´s Gaudi 3 accelerator chips now ship in PCIe and rack-scale configurations to compete directly with NVIDIA, promising faster training and inference for large language models, computer vision tasks, and recommendation systems across cloud and edge environments. To round out its Artificial Intelligence ecosystem, Intel unveiled its AI Assistant Builder software, now publicly available on GitHub, offering developers an open framework for building and deploying custom Artificial Intelligence agents on Intel-based machines. The company emphasized its deep collaboration with Taiwan´s tech industry and reinforced its commitment to delivering innovative solutions for the rapidly evolving Artificial Intelligence landscape.
