Adobe has made its Artificial Intelligence agent technology generally available to help workers build, deliver and optimize customer experiences and marketing campaigns. The platform is built on the AEP Agent Orchestrator and is designed to provide context-aware, multi-step actions, response refinement and ROI-driven workflows so businesses can tailor the Artificial Intelligence to their goals. Adobe says more than 70% of its AEP customers are already using the AI assistant conversational interface, and the company expects the agentic layer to increase automation and output for marketing teams.
At launch Adobe is shipping six out-of-the-box Artificial Intelligence agents that sit within its apps. Audience agent is aimed at personalization initiatives and audience optimization. Journey agent helps design and optimize multi-channel customer journeys. Experimentation agent analyses experiments and predicts conversions. Data insights agent focuses on forecasting and visualizing insights. Site optimization agent monitors websites, flags performance issues and assists with fixes. Product support agent is designed to streamline customer support workflows. These agents are presented as ready-made building blocks that companies can deploy to automate common marketing and experience tasks.
For enterprises that require deeper customization, Adobe will offer the Experience Platform Agent Composer, coming soon, to configure agents within brand guidelines and policies. The company first announced the Experience Platform Agent Orchestrator at its annual Summit in March 2025 as a hub to connect data, workflows and third-party Artificial Intelligence ecosystems. Anjul Bhambhri, Adobe experience cloud engineering SVP, said the innovations aim to reimagine processes, unlock productivity for marketing teams and deliver personalized experiences at scale to drive growth. Adobe also said it is working with partners including Cognizant, Google Cloud, Havas, Medallia, Omnicom, PwC and VML to expand the agents´ capabilities across multiple platforms.
